This is a first book purist campaign. That is, only the information presented in Nine Princes in Amber by Roger Zelazny is considered canonical. Everything else can be assumed to be completely wrong.
There are however some differences. The article 'Difference in Canon' lists the more notable differences between this game and more regular Amber lore.
Additional Non-Canon Amber Works
Both Zelazny and other authors and authoresses have produced a number of wonderful Amber based works. While these may be used to inspire or guide you, they are not considered Canon and the facts presented in these works, cannot be used directly within this game.
