Orpheus: The Taste of Ashes
In the year 2000, the Orpheus Group cracked the secret of Death, and found a way to send people out beyond the veil and bring them back. In those early days, there were losses as they mapped the dangers, but, over time, they acquired an understanding of what happened and why. And they continued to recruit those rare individuals capable of this journey.
By the year 2003, they were advertising their services on late night tv. If you were being troubled by a haunted house, if you needed to to find that password off your deceased accountant or if you just wanted proof that there was existence beyond death, and you had the money, you could hire consultants from the Orpheus Group.
