Introductory Email

Thanks for asking to join the MK-RPG mailing list. This is an automatically sent message that should tell you a little about who we are and what we do.

This mailing list is for the Milton Keynes Role-Playing Games Club. We play tabletop, face-to-face RPGs (like Dungeons and Dragons) in Milton Keynes. We play mini-campaigns of around 8 weeks followed by about three weeks of one-off and short games. There's no agenda about what games get played: people propose games they want to run and the most popular ones get played.

As you may have seen from the group, we meet every Tuesday evening, 8.00 -- 11.00, at York House in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes. The cost of hiring the venue works out to about £10 per person per month, but your first two sessions are free, so you can see what's on offer. There's no profit involved, it's purely costs.

Recently, we've played Blue Planet, Hero Quest, Over The Edge, Call of Cthulhu, Ars Magica, Amber, Exalted, Warhammer FRP, InSpectres, D&D3.5, Nobilis, Vampire, and several other one-off games, and we're open to pretty much anything.

As a precaution against spammers, your membership of the group must be approved by a moderator of this list, so you may be asked if you're a real person before your membership is approved. Your first few posts will also have to be approved by a moderator.
